"Trial of the God's" or popularly known as "God's Trial" in "Forsaken World Global" is one of the best source of exp you can get in the game.
This is where you can maximize the use of your "Lionheart Scroll" and "Exp Aid". Imagine receiving an Exp of 500 to 800 Exp by killing a single monster boring isn't it? Now imagine your inside "Trial of the God's" and your receiving 1k Exp per monster plus your "Lionheart Scroll" and "Exp Aid", I won't brag just see for yourself on the images I have attached.
I will explain the mechanics of "Trial of the God's" as much as to my knowledge, if you feel there's something missing don't hesitate to comment : ) .
Now there are two ways to apply for "Trial of the God's", one is to solo apply and wait for system matching you to others who have applied solo as well. This system is kinda lame, the party matching system is not perfect sometimes you will be matched to a good party sometimes not, that's why players prefer forming a party first to get a good party with a balanced class.
For the solo apply method press "T". see image below
You will see that I have already applied for solo method and that I have 0/3 "Trial of the God's", that means that I can take it 3x, why do I have 3 "Trial of the God's"? When you miss 1 "Trial of the God's" it doesn't mean it will be lost, so that will be added the next day but remember you are only allowed to stack 3 "Trial of the God's", the succeeding "ToG's" will be forfeited.
The next is the party or group method where the "Party Leader" is the only one allowed to apply for a "Party/Group Method". see image below
In the image above I have already applied for the group party method, it doesn't matter whether your party mates are on different channels, the party group method doesn't require the party to be on the same channel to apply. If you dont want to us the "T" keyboard command to apply you can go to the npc directly (Party Leader). see image below
As you can see in the image above that is the "Trial of the God's" npc "Saint John", the location of this NPC is already shown above including coordinates or just see image below.
I have marked with a circle the location of the "Trial of the God's" npc above.
Now let's go to the instance proper, there are two modes of "Trial of the God's" one is the "Novice/Normal Mode" and the other is the "Mentor/Advance Mode".
The "Novice/Normal Mode" is when all of your party mates levels have the same or 1-19 levels in gap when you entered. This is harder than the "Mentor/Advance Mode" specially when you applied for the solo party matching mode, here the party has to divide themselves to 2 players to defend the pillars because they all come out at the same time including the "Trial Monsters" so the best way to do this is you guys have to be fast in killing the "Trial Monsters" in each pillar. see image below
When your defending the pillars there are times that you have to use your "Soul Force Skill" its the skill on the far left side of the skill bar the one that is shining/glittering, use this when there are more than two monsters because it takes time to recharge it, your "Soul Force Skill" uses the green charge bar just below your mana bar. see image above
What happens when you successfully defend the pillar? You receive a buff particular to the element of that pillar.
What happens when you fail? You dont get the buffs and you get stuck killing the "Trial Monsters" until the equivalent time defending the pillar. see image below
It's not so bad dude when you fail just keep up defending :) .
After defending all pillars the boss monster appears in the middle of the room nort so huge and not so strong as long as you have a healer to help you out :).
Now when you kill the boss 1 or 2 gems will come out and you guys will have to try your luck to roll for it and that's it simple and easy lol.
The "Mentor/Advance Mode" is when 1 or 2 of your party mates are 20 levels below you, the advantage of this is the 20 levels below will receive more exp and gather a certain amount of crystal which will also give the low level another additional exp...nice lol, and the higher level will of course recceive additional points in terms of mentoring. The best part of this mode is that you defend the Pillars one by one, good isn't?
